We love hiking in Pagosa Springs. For a family friendly hike (or simply want to take it easy but still be stunned by the beauty) hike to Treasure Falls.

Other favorites include 4-mile Falls, Opal Lake, and our favorite - the Piedra River Trail.

He can fill you in on great places for beginner to expert drivers.

Trail Ride

Get your Cowboy on with a trail ride. This is a relatively tame experience in Pagosa. It is typically a group ride with a guide, perfect for families with kids. Comfortable in the saddle? High Country rides available as well.

Chimney Rock is one of the newest US National Monuments. It's a relatively undiscovered archaeological site full of artifacts. This is a 3-hour adventure, start to finish.

Just over Wolf Creek Pass and up the mountain a ways is the little mountain town of Creede. It's a great day trip; a fun place to stroll and shop a little (very little.)

Seeing is believing! Rent some kayaks or SUPS, pack a picnic and head to the most beautiful mountain lake you have seen. We actually have 5 kayaks we can loan you. It's a favorite of the locals.
